The tapestry-maker Daniela Mincheva was born on 28.12.1961 in Targovishte/Bulgaria.

She grew up in a family that appreciated the Applied Arts.
Inspired by her mother and grandmother’s skills she has started embroidering since she was 6 years old. Daniela is a nurse.
In 1982 she got aware of the tapestry beauty. She started working out hand-made tapestry with cotton threads under scheme. She has sewed more than 50 tapestries.

The stitch she uses is 1:1(Petit-Point), 1:2(Wiehler) and 1:4.
In 2001 Daniela corresponded with WIEHLER GOBELIN company, Germany.

Her work was valued very highly by them. She keeps proving herself in all her works.
Daniela exhibited her works in Sofia.
She accepts orders according to the client’s requirements. She carries our orders according to a picture submitted.

Nowadays the artist Daniela Mincheva lives and works in Targovishte. She is represented by NEST-ART®.
