| Mr.
Ljubomir Nikolov was born in 1951 in the town of
Sofia/Bulgaria.
His
secondary education begin at 1970 in the Polytechnic school for
Precision Mechanics and Optics “Lomonossov” –
Sofia.
After that in the year 1975
he applies at the High military school ”G. Benkovski”,
specialty engineer fighter-pilot. His work experiences start at
1975 until 1986 as fighter-pilot, and at 1986 until 1995 he works
as pilot of helicopter
The creative work of Mr. Nikolov starts from 1983 as self-educated
wood-carver, basically oriented to the reproduction of icons from
Sveta Gora*st. Forest Greece) and the Crypt of the Temple-monument
Alexander Nevsky - cathedral Sofia/Bulgaria, which are made from
walnut-tree, pear-tree and lime-tree, all of them in full compliance
of the canonical requirements. Perfectionism in the flagrant implementation
of the shallow bas-relief and of the midget wood-carving, using
also other plastic resources. Even the smallest details are made
very precociously with burin and point.
In the 1999, 2000 and 2002 –he participates in three individual
exhibitions in galleries of Sofia. In 2002 awarded from the Association
Phenomena with diploma and statuette “Golden phenomenon”
for the entirely creative work.
